Mum Good morning! (Wednesday) Well, not sure you are able to read these posts any more as you are in Williamsburg, but no worries: I'm sure you will in time! We have sunshine today - yippee!! Well I packed all our wedding gear and have used the Benetton bag for the three of you. Inside the bag there are three bags : each contains a dress, bra, bolero, and shoes. I've included four pairs of natural tights : only 10 denier so they aren't too thick, but just enough to cover legs if it's cold/or a little colour for those that want them. The bag is very light: it weighs no more than around 8-10 Kgs so that's good and gives us all a little flexibility (I might ask you to bring one or two things back for us..... the cake being one of them) Jeff's picking the cake up tonight and Daisy's off to the cattery. We're loading Dobbin tonight and cleaning the house. We had hoped to dive in Lamorna (near Penzance) Friday, but the winds are a little gusty :-( so we'll have to wait till we get to Scilly to drop down! The weather looks a little more settled (albeit windy) for the next few days, so with a little luck you might get a little sunshine when you return. Sorry I couldn't talk too long, I was cooking eggs to go with bubble and squeak and we had to be over at Adanac around 7 to drop Porridge's stuff off before going on to meet Sharon and Sean. I didn't want to say too much, but I managed to get some Perry Ellis (not Ellis Perry like I thought) "Red" on line yesterday, so if you can't get any, don't worry. Please don't go buying presents for us! Enjoy yourself and remember you baggage allowance I've gone to plan B. As per my text, I'm arranging a taxi to collect all three of you from Adanac at 9:15 (or if you two are at Sunnyside, let me know and I'll arrange two collections). The driver is also going to collect you from the airport. It was cheaper doing that, than paying for your carpark AND a taxi for Sam. Hope you have great weather for the rest of your stay in VA. Mum ..... the sums are never difficult..... It was lovely talking to you yesterday! Wow, pipefish and seahorses - well they love eel grass, so I'm not surprised you caught some! Did you take any pictures of them? It's still raining here. I think it must be knocking on to almost two months of solid rain :-( good ol global warming. Hope your bruise clears up quickly, anchors are pretty solid things :-) We have a busy time this weekend getting the house clean, kit mainenance and rounding up/packing for next week :-) can't wait! Mum Good morning!! Lovely to talk to you last night! Did you sleep well. Do you have any more mossy bites Sounds as though you are having a wonderful time. It was Porridge's last day at the scheme yesterday. We were going to go to the cinema to watch Indiana Jones, but it's no longer showing!! We suggested 10pin bowling after our 'all you can eat' Chinese tonight with Sam and Jeff's parents, but Dilly said 'it wasn't her style' so we are going home after supper and we're not going to do anything with her We'll start rounding up scilly stuff ready for next week and do some chores. In the meantime, buy another out there - if you can - of a similar value and specification (I'll transfer some money into your account) when you tell me how much you need. Mum hehehe not Jeff's birthday - his dad's!! Jeff's is a day before Sam's I'm so sorry that your camera has broken!! Want me to look into seeing whether you can get another and get reimbursed when you get back?? I'm sorry you got sun burnt - maybe you need a bigger factor....... Last evening went very well. Lots of laughs. One of Jeff's brothers was there with his wife Pam and their two teenage sons Matthew and Craig. Dilly's seen them all before (actually played poker with them on the Thursday afternoons you were working) they get on like a house on fire. By the time we left it was 10:15 - and absolutely chucking it down. AND dark - it felt like November!! Today we have sunshine after all night rain - so think yourself lucky! We have just over a week to go before we trundle down to Penzance - yippee It's Porridge's last day at the Yate Scheme. Jeff's mum and dad are going over around 11 on Wedndesday to entertain her. We'll probably all then go up to the Mall (venue) and have all you can eat Chinese then go to the cinema to watch a movie - well that's the plan anyway..... Tonight is relatively quiet: just a bit of washing to sort out and put all the diving kit in the garage to drip dry (it's not drying in the garden!). We're have fahitas for supper - yummy. I've checked your ice cream place, nothing's posted at the moment, but it did show a HUGE bowl of icecream - I feel sick just looking at it Hope you had a lovely day yesterday and that your raring to go today!!
