*written in a delirious state of mind over a number of days*
Okaaayyy, I have a lot to say and I'm not sure how to express it all.
1. Flying was actually the worst experience ever. Even if I was desperate to come home, I could not handle another 14 hrs of confined space and constant darkness on a plane. Though I did meet a nice Serbian lady and a Danish man who kept me company during the flight. :)
2. After 48 hrs of almost no sleep I met the cool NZ's who are on exchange this year too. The other Aussie guy (chris) and the 3 NZ's and myself are pretty much the only people who can't speak more than one language. Feeling let down by the Australian school system..
3. Got to camp after being in the Danish air. It really does feel like being in a self serve freezer at the bottle shop; or in other words the weather is crisp and refreshing. The buildings are all brick and look aged and everyone is on a bike with cute little baskets at the front. They fed us some licorice which tasted like vegemite in a hard shell. (disgusting) and there are weird and normal ways to make open sandwhiches. I feel so clueless sometimes about this culture. I'm pretty sure I'm going to like it though :)
4. They have communal showers.
5. There isn't any internet connection where I am at the moment AHHHH which is probably good. A facebook and tumblr detox. I don't have a phone either, might as well live in a cave!
6. Made some great friends at camp and before you know it, we're all alone and going separate ways on the train. It's pretty scary when you don't understand ANYTHING! You're thinking in English but reading in Danish and wanting to speak a language your mouth can't process. Also some food packaging is in English so you're mind is totally screwed over :)
7. The country is beautiful. Though for some reason I haven't accepted that I'm not in Australia. That sounds stupid I know but yeah....
8. Listening to calming songs on the train to meet my family (actually Adele is kind of depressing). Aussie trains suck compared to over here! Haha
Anywho, I'm sure there is heaps I've missed and I miss you all lots.
Talk to you all very soon!
Bye! xo

Carra Hahaha, Alex: Embrance open sandwitches. Open sandwitches are the best. Especially like, turkey gravy ones. Also: As a thing, I love flying on planes but I've never had to do 14 hours nonstop! Plane food is my favourite. Anyway, glad to hear you've touchdowned safe and sound in the icey abyss of Denmark. Update us on your thing soon!
Alex But there are certain ways to make them otherwise your banished into the books of weirdness! Planes are terrible especially when you're flying backwards into constant darkness for 14hrs on an aisle seat. The plane food wasn't too bad especially the coffee hahaha. Thanks Carra :) x
