Today we caught the Magic bus to Franz Josef, stopped off in a little town for supplies and then went to a place called Ross, an old Gold mining town. Arrived in Franz in time to do the half day Glacier walk. WHAT WERE WE THINKING????!! First they deck you out in all the gear including boots which weigh you down just a little then they get you to trample over some very rocky ground where the Glacier used to be, to get to the edge of the thing. Takes about an hour so we were already knackered before we even began to climb! Still was pretty cool once we were up there even if we did have a little trouble getting the ice spikes on!! Our guide Kevin had to wack our heels with a pick axe to get them to sit right! Absolutely shattered once we got back and Kate bless her had huge red raw blisters on her heels!! :( That night went to Ice Blue Cafe for pizza and had a chat with Paul and Adam from the UK. Nice guys and found out England beat Oz in the Rugby!!!! yeah!!!

Heading to Queenstown tomorrow......... Bungy time!!!! xxxx
