Day 10...

Again plastering and sanding was my job today and kitted out in my overalls I went to work at 8.

After a pleasant morning of working getting a room up to its best condition before sealing we enjoyed a beautiful lunch in the shade.

As myself and another volunteer here had planned, we went down to the lake to do wake-boarding. Of course I made him go first and then tried to reconsider trying it as it looked really hard but when I got into it I was actually pretty good when I got the hang of it. I was so close to pulling out and not trying it at all but I was so pleased that I did. You see I am not an agile or strong person so I doubted I would be able... But I was actually good and I am so proud of myself !

On returning home a bottle of Champagne was opened here at LG as it was one of our volunteers last nights. A final game of settlers was enjoyed, which took us hours as we chatted and drank the whole way through.

Two bottles of champagne and a bottle of wine later we were jolly players by the end... And off to bed we went delighted that the stifling heat that riddled the place all the days before had cooled off and I actually wore a hoody !!!
