G'day!
Well we had a really hot day! Shirtsleeves and almost shorts! And there was sunlight without clouds!
Well we had another exciting day and lots of walking. We got a London pass when we were back home so we have utilized it as much as possible.
So to start off with we went to
-Winston Churchill's Britain at war experience which was like the civilians point I view of living in London whilst the war was on.
-HMAS Belfast with an audio tour and exploring the ship which is on the Thames
- had lunch at a traditional old English pub at the noniman and hays ( fish and chips!)
- we continued to the London bridge and tombs experience we had a group of students with us and they freaked out as you had people jumping out at you along the way. In the briefing we were told the zombies won't touch you so please don't punch them in the face!
- next we walked down to tower bridge and exhibition
- then continued west to the monument which has 344 stairs to get to the top! This was erected after the 1666 great fire where 12000 homes were lost . It's said were the monument would fall at the tip is where the fire started in pudding lane!
- we caught the subway home and boy was it packed as it was right on 5 pm never again!!! My aunty met up with us last night as the rest of her family flies in tomorrow.
Otay well we are off for another day of exploring a bit cloudy though today!
Oh and we have only met 1 other Ozzie from winmalee in the blue mountains!
Otay stay safe!
