Right well I think it's important that an update occurs.
Not much has happened since I last updated. But I did go to see a magnificent concert, Jack Johnson! Oh yeah. It was sheer class. The setting was nice, not to busy nice relaxed atmosphere and there was good music!
The opening act Tegan and Sarah, identical twins from Canada rocker their little maple socks off. They were a really good addition to the line up so had a good time swaying to the beat. Plus they were talented guitarists and pianists, and they could sing live which was good. There were some unique interpretations of dance.....a gorilla style and a happy go lucky jive thing which I'm still not too sure about. But harmless all the same and provided good audience entertainment.
There was a little bit of waiting in between the openers and the almighty Jack so, time was passed by gently swaying to and fro. He hit the stage, there was a mighty welcome from the crowd clapping and whooping.
He began with some new songs, he changed it up quite alot during the performance, guitar changes were a plenty much like the openers but it was cool seamless as they say. Jack and his brigade are truly talented, Zac the pianist was truly amazing, supporting with epic vocals and his accordion playing was well cool, made the show I reckon. The show was great didn't disappoint, however the only criticism which can't be helped is one of the 'youth of today' acting like mad ones and being a right pain in the bottom! Crikey there came a time when I thought to myself...seriously how old am I? I must be wise in the mind....like an owl! But I suppose these sorts of things happen at concerts when a little too much alcohol has been smuggled in and drank, the fumes were radiating off them. Fortunately plenty of space so moved away and continued to enjoy.
On a different note, one is off to do some HelpX work this weekend in South Brighton I think its's called, staying with a family to do odd jobs around their place in exchange for a bed and some food. Not sure how long I will be staying all depends I guess. Not bad really, the lady Frauke is a photographer and she seems like a happy go lucky person so should be coo0 think I'm helping out a Christmas parade too, Santa arrives via the beach, could prove interesting me thinks.l. As they say the adventure begins....
