Yatta!
Ohayou!
Today we made tracks for Yokohama, one of Tokyo's port towns. Wandering around, we took in all the sights, including an absolutely massive glass-skyscraper-esque hotel, a huge ferris wheel, and a theme park around the ferris wheel.
Our walk also took us through some parks, to Yokohama Stadium (baseball), and finally to Chinatown, the largest of East Asia. I got some souvenirs here, and we both gawped at the masses of panda shops that seemed to take over the town - they were everywhere, not just Chinatown.
Which reminds me of the amazing icecream I had at lunch time (it was near a panda shop); it was surely the greatest ice cream of all time.
All in all, the day has been a success!
