This is what we are climbing today. Aughhhhhhh
Firstly an amazing walk with the dogs through the woods it the very fresh morning dew.
So slight disaster. It turns out if you don't go for 7 months you might not be quite as good as when we stopped.
Firstly I dropped the bag with all our equipment in half way down the mountain and about 10 mins later dropped the guide book in the exact same place so off to a good start I think.
Anyway we started off with a 5 on quite a steep verge. We put on all our gear, checked knots had one last look at the route , up the side of the rock. The first clip in was about 4m up and with one sheer drop on the other side Stu slowly and fairly cautiously started. About 2m up was starting to struggle and 3m was enough. The piss poor performance was enough to send us into hysterics and with the sun shining right into our eyes Stu climbed down.
Went back to the van still giggling to have some well deserved lunch hahah, and now on the way to Frankfurt.
