OMG
We stopped in landsburg to visit sone friends for s drink. We went to a nice cafe and had some food and caught up for a bit. We decided to take the dogs for a walk as they said they would take us to a cool rope swing in the forest.
We headed out at about 8ish and the first thing we came across was a nature reserve park. We were told there were deer and wild boar but what I didn't realise that they were fenced in so we could see. The closer we got the more the dogs went crazy until I was pretty much dragged the last 100meters or so. It took about 15 minutes to pull them away as it looked like Arch was going to jump the fence. Not good as they had babies as well.
Anyway so after that excitement headed on, it was starting to get dark so obviously the scary stories started. At about 10 we hadn't quite arrived so we were getting slightly concerned. But shortly after crossing a bridge to got there in complete darkness. It was about 6 meters over sone water and did look good but as we couldn't see a thing chickened out. Steven carried on swinging out in touch light from a mobile. Had 2 goes lost his cap and then stopped.
We decided not to go back pass the hogs so carried on up the hill deeper into the forest and the darkness. We were following some cycle tracks so new we couldn't be going to far off course but never the less we were still a little unsure. As we carried on it started to get muddy, the dogs we loving it stomping away getting slightly over excited to when it came to me crossing a particularly muddy part Arch pulled me in the wrong direction and my flipflop and foot stated to sink. I could pull them out so foot in the mud carry flip-flops for about 20mins until mud ended and we found a gravel track starting to emerge out of the woods. We got back at12:30am and I was cover up to my knees in mud. It took 30mins to wash myself. Fun and games. Pretty amusing really.
