Just Down the road we found this another beautiful lake which we decided to find a place to stop and stay. It was still hot and busy so finding a place was quite difficult.
Eventually we crossed a bridge and found a car park where you could stay so we parked up got out and it was all damp and dirty. We carried on regardless and took our bikes off and peddled down to the lake to have a dip. We tested a few spots out and then found a bit of drift wood for Stu to sit on and put his feet on whilst is swam. The water wasn't the coldest but was certainly fresh. Stu managed to get up to his knees, maybe a little further.
We got back to the van and it was pretty crappy. The dogs were dirty after being out for about a minute. Not sure why it was quite so bad at this place but that was it so we packed up and off down the road to find somewhere else. People were starting to leave so spaces kept opening up.
We pulled up in a lay-by with tables and chairs and running water so we thought perfect. As we turned the engine off all we could here was the running water and the busy traffic but the view was amazing. You wouldn't of thought it would be so difficult to find somewhere but it is.
We decided to have dinner as it was getting a little late the move on.
Food done, walk dogs done, move on done.
We carried on for about 30 mins still heading for Munchen in a round about way. We went up and down mountain trying to avoid the multitude of motorbikes banking round corners going super fast. We over took a cyclist going up hill and it over took us going down. The road was steep the corners were sharp and we handle like a 3.5t van ie not at all. Anyway we crossed though a unmanned toll booth not paying through some lovely little villages to find THE most amazing place ever. The sun was setting behind the mountains as we found a place to park sat on a bench and had a beer to watch what was left. We listened to the waves lapping over the rocks and by about 10:30 not another car was heard or person seen. Pure Bliss
