It was so hot yesterday that I think even the van nearly had a melt down with all the fans going and stuff.
The boys got back at about 4:30pm and we could only muster up enough energy to go to the bar at about 7pm.
Luckily today is the first day in months I can say I feel quite cool, at the moment any way.
The dogs do surprisingly well. Arch sleeps all day and Blaze, well Blaze is just Blaze hot or cold. I worry about them but they are better than me in this weather.
I do hope for a little cooler over the next few weeks though. It hasn't been easy to sleep. We have all the windows and doors open and as soon as it gets to a reasonable temp a train goes by or a police car with full on sirens and then before you know it the sun is starting to rise and we have to close the back door otherwise it feels like it's going to burn a hole through your eye lids.

So we all knew it was going to rain but did it really have to whilst I was out. I was soaked through. At least I could get back and change. I wonder how wet the boys will be??
