Today is my first day here and i decided to see the Salzburg Cathedral. The cathedral has seen many rough times being destroyed reconstructed and expanded many times. it was built in 767AD, in 1167 it was destroyed and reconstructed to get shut down again, from here the arch bishop decided to destroy it completely. Its final construction was the seventh century.

Although it never was completly destroyed again the dome was destroyed in 1944 World War 2. It wasn't rebuilt into late 1950's(1959)to where it stands today. A cool fact about this cathedral is that one of the most famous composers Wolfgang Amadeus Motzart was baptized in it and composed musical pieces.
