Today i decided to pick up a souvenir for home. The souvenir that i got was a doll. these are very famouse in bulgaria and are traditional gifts. the dolls ethier are wearing cloths and are made from cloth or have painted clothes and are made from wood. I really liked the idea of the doll because it shows what kinds of things bulgarians like and it shows the culture bulgaria is in.

today i decided to go skiing it is my last day on the whole trip so i wanted to do something really fun. Especially sience bulgaria has some of the best skiing in eastern europe. The country has just about the same amount of skiing terrin as Austria. Most mountains are different and a lot of the advance skiing varies. one of the best resorts in the country is called borovets this is the picture that you see up above.

Today i decided to try some of bulgaria's traditional foods. The one that i really liked was the kebapche. this is a type of meatball made from meets and various spices that make a sasague structer. the kebapache has to be grilled or else you will end up with a different type of food. the meal is generly sided with a salad and french fries.

today i learned about the film festivals in bulgaria they are very interisting. The cinemania film festival is hosted by the nationalpalace of culture. This is a large festival that allows formmer winners to be reconized by everyone else. it also allows new canidates for the festivals to be seen. In my opinion film festivals are the best kind of festival because they are really big and lots of fun.

Today i decided to go see a historical site known as Petrich. The site is located 2 kilometers away from assenovgrad. The castle over looks the Assenitsa River. The fortresses present name was given by the local population and was accepted in 1878. the fortress is a very amazing site and shows a real type of structer from a long time ago.
