Today i decided to visit something very nice, the botanical gardens. These wonderful areas are filled with over thousands of species of plants and ponds. The gardens are a great place to relax and get some nice shade and good useful information on plants. The sad thing is that most of the wonderful plants are dieing because it is nearing one of the coldest months in Croatia but the plants that are inside houses are very nice.

Today i decided to try some of the croatian cousine. It is a typical extension of peasent food, except easy to make and very good. Two neighbooring countries influnced its cousine. people by the adratic sea eat similar to the italian cousine. While nothern croatia eats similar to central europe. Cousines dont always have fish but meats too.

Today i decided to go to the island of Pag. I picked up some pag lace, a cloth that is generly placed on queens and princesses clothing of the country. You can still see the old lady that made the pag. I thought it would be a great souvenir because it really showed the heritage of the country.

today i found a poster of festivals in Croatia. this one named the Folkore festival sounded the best. although it is in july which is disapointing. It is an event representing amature groups dedicating to preserving local heritage. has been taking place since 1966, amis to present and premote traditional values of all nations and cultures. program is by experts ethologists and folkloristis, who are in constant contact with croatian heritage.

Today i visited the Diocletian's palace. He was a soilder who became an emporer that reigned from 248AD to 305AD. he reconstructed provinces and the administrative system making him a strong leader. Difficult to know where the palace ends and the city starts. Interically combined. the palace and town have been an unesco world heritage site since 1979, and is a popular tourist destination.
