In the middle of September I had the first visitors from home. Wiebke and Dania came in the early morning of the 11th September oh oh. After having caught up on some sleep, we headed towards town to do sightseeing. I was lucky because I was off most of the time they were here. We started off with a coffee in Holland Park and then headed towards Notting Hill and in particular Portobello Road Market, of course. In the evening I took them to TGI hmmmmm. Next day we did THE Thames walk. Starting at Houses of Parliament all the way to Tower Bridge and then with the DLR to Greenwich :) But it was Thames Festival....too many tourists and people around....makes me grumpy :) We went to a nice pub in Greenwich and had some Guinness there before returning home again. Next day I had to work unfortunately and the girls discovered the town on their own. Work was really quiet. Nothing much happened. Next day we went to Camden and I showed them the nice market and some interesting people ;) Time went by too quickly because there would have been so much more to show them :( But hey that's always a reason to return to London!
After that I returned to my daily routine of working. Nothing much happened except for the usual Hotel craziness.
Next week Steffi is coming wooohooo and right after that Karin (if she books her tickets today) and then I am on a special mission (let's say - I won't be in London) soooo much to do...aaaah and reports and assignment and working.
That's it. Off today.
