Last week in F&B
This is already my last week in F&B. It was fun actually and I don't dislike F&B that much anymore :) Today I was in charge for the restaurant by myself in the beginning and everything worked well yeeeha.
Last Friday I went to the O2 to go to the British Music Experience. That was interesting. The exhibition was about all British Music from post-war time until today with lots of interactive multimedia stuff and exhibits. They also had a Gibson studio where you can play guitar, drums and piano with a tutorial. I tried drums and guitar...man I think I will stick to listening to music rather than playing any instrument. Afterwards I met with Desiree (also from school, but in fast track so she's almost done with her placement) and we went to the cinema to watch Harry Potter.
On Saturday I went shopping (yes yes again) in Westfield. I actually was looking for shoes but I bought 2 scarves (not that I already have enough), a tshirt and a dress. And I didn't stop at Starbucks....I'm really proud of myself.
On Sunday I went to Holland Park in the afternoon. Nice place and had some Starbucks afterwards (damn). It was a weird place because there were half naked men walking around, dressed like devils and painted in red. But nobody seemed to care. In the evening I went to Ornella's leaving party. She's working in the restaurant as well and is going back to her homecountry Argentina now. We went to an Irish Bar in Chinatown (strange I know) and it was great fun. Couple of people from the hotel were there and her flatmates (way too drunk and way too talky by the way).
On Monday I had to do early shift so I left the party ''early'' (at 11pm - which is way too late if you have to wake up at 5 again) but apparently I looked really fresh and relaxed that morning according to my Supervisor. Besides that the week has been pretty normal.
Tomorrow my parents are coming yeeeeha. And they're staying in the hotel. I wonder what they will say. Hihi.
So long and thanks for all the fish.
