Day 5 - 29th June
Woke up at 11:30am and had to check out of our hostel by 12am. We have decided to book a night bus with beds to Sihanoukville but it was fully booked. The only available option was a night bus with normal seats, so with no choice we booked it.

re: photo from 27 June 2012peter jeyes Guys, I see that you are both still going strong and enjoying yourselves, with the occasional crash out in between. Was that actual food on your pate (potatoes) - must have been like eating a gourmet meal, instead of legs and tails. Blog now up to day 8, so i guess beginning to work your way back to the start of your adventure. the island looks great hope you enjoyed your time there and will wait for stories on travelling companions upon return - but seriously congratulations to you both on your journey and the experience that you are living.
re: Koh Rong, CambodiaFrances Stone Ha, I never knew Ross was a good armwrestler! Especially against a 'Big Man'! LOL Sounds like you had fun though. Shame about the whole sunrise thing, and William, I can't believe you got up at 4:30am! Wow! You hate getting up at 6:30 let alone 4:30! Shock Horror! :-)
re: Siem Reap, CambodiaElizabeth Tarala Will remember when we got up early in Samoa to wathc the sunrise and we were sat watching in the wrong direction so the sun came up behind us! FOOLS lol ! xxx
re: Siem Reap, CambodiaDarren Bad start but great finish! Glad you met friendly peeps! :-)
re: Sihanoukville, Cambodiapeter Jeyes William / Ross, Keep on trucking - oh well, unforunately there is always someone trying to make money - must be like the gypsies over here with "lucky heather" not so lucky when you have to pay for it - but cons exist the world over, how much is the going rate for a jos stick. Up at 4.30 and no sunrise, still you managed to see the sights if not all lit up with the morning sun, yet as you managed to leave nightclub at 1.45 if you had hung on for another 3 hours you could have seen the sun rise and saved yourselves USD 20.00 although in fairness the views might not have been as good. Great to hear you are still both having fun and enjoying the journey - take care of yourselves Peter J

re: Siem Reap, CambodiaLynn Stone Up at 4.30am and no possibility of seeing the sunrise..........such a shame. Can't believe that you managed to get up at such an hour, William. That's got to be a record!! You've both had such an amazing time thus far........and you haven't been there a week yet. Enjoy. X
