Dear friends, family and curious readers,
Buzzzz Buzzzz Buzzzz...BUZZZZZZZ! (The infamous alarm clock) I want more sleep I thought, but hey, we've got a fun day ahead of us!
Starting our day with a spectacular and healthy breakfast was the right way to begin. Feasting on eggs, toast, fruit, you name it. We were completely filled, so out we go to the main lobby to start our journey of the day. There was a problem, though; the van had taken nearly another hour before arriving. All were disappointed to miss the opportunity to use that spare time for extra sleep instead of waiting in the lobby. However, we still enjoyed our time chatting about various things, along with Jennifer fidgeting on the couch.
The van came and off we went to the laundromat, because whew, I mean, c'mon, we're teenagers for goodness sakes. Heading to the valley of the moon took a little while, of course with our intelligent group, we had no problem creating new conversations to make the time pass by. The Valley of the Moon was vast and pretty. Before we got within a fraction of the hike throughout the valley, we kept getting stalled by the repetitive picture taking. It wasn't our fault, though! The view is just breathtaking. As time is precious, we scurried along the trail to quickly finish and head off.
Our next stop was lunch, an expensive one; the wait was quite long but the food was delicious. Meat, french fries and cheesy rice, along with a salad; don't worry we're keeping our health in mind.
With lunch over, we went to the Valley of the Souls. The difference between both is that the Valley of the Souls is much bigger and higher than the Valley of the Moon; perhaps more beautiful as well. We enjoyed our time throwing rocks into a hole, and don't forget about the pictures! There will always be pictures.
After a day full of fun, most of us were exhausted from the walking. We ventured back to the hotel; bid our farewells to the van driver as we would not be seeing him again. Can't forget dinner, of course. We walked around looking for something mouth watering to eat and decided on the Irish Pub. The wait was incredibly long so to make time fly we all worked our brains; yes we actually did, with riddles. Perhaps you may know of "State magic"; we all laughed as we struggled to figure out the answer. When the food finally arrived, we stuffed our faces like pigs and walked back to the hotel with protruding bellies. We all are ready for bed now.
Good night fellow readers!
