Well wasn't that a s*** of a way to start a day - aaaagghhh!!!
Alarm was on but phone volume turned down. Up 15 mins later than required, girls hate mornings, TB and EB just cant gel today and a stupid rush to the train. We must get another suitcase to share around some of this crap we are carrying.
Anyhow....

We are on the 510 service to Vancouver, sliding by the waters edge just north of Seattle now. Nice train - large seats and leg room aplenty. We settle in for the 4 hours. Morning is still grey but currently not raining - not far away though. CB already off to sleep zzzz.

We are nearly 3 hrs in and the weather is improving as we get further away from Seattle. Hope it stays this way. Lovely ocean side scenery, there is something really special about this coast - the trees down to the waters edge.
Everyone pretty quiet with Chels snoozing, EB reading and I think have seen TB with eyes shut intermittently also.

Arrived into VCR and cleared Customs. Grabbed a taxi and off to Carmana Plaza, out home for the next 3 days.
Had a small issue with check in but ultimately worked out for us as we were upgraded to 2 bedroom suite - awesome.!!

Dropped bags, freshened up and went out for a walk to familiarize ourselves with downtown location.
Need $$$$ where's a bank ... Ok that's sorted.
After an early start we wanted to eat in (have full kitchen here). Found Safeway and went shopping. Man this is expensive but managed to get a meal organized.
Location can't be better and can just see Grouse mountain thru the buildings down to the water. Another market over the road for any requirements.

Dinner was done and unpacked bags as needed. It was good to settle in with a bit of tv and a good sleep.

Cool and grey today and lets see what the weekend brings...

Out
