Ok so I am behind a few days but I am sure the technology will catch me up with a draft wording I still have on the phone somewhere...

This will show we are in Seattle which is true however all comments will be based around a cruizy Sunday in SFO.

Love the idea of the umbrella bag - something so simple
It was pretty consistant rain all weekend and this little thing helped a bit

Sunday 25.03 - Breakfast and got ourselves out into the world, walking the streets along the foreshore to the Maritime museum @ Hyde Street Pier. Had to take another photo of the girls in the rowboat now 2.5 yrs later (man, time flies past)

Sun came out & we enterained the idea of another ride on the cable cars. 3 things stopped us:-

1. the 600 people in front of us with the same idea

2. the $48- r/trip cost for the jourmey

3. we had done it before

Feet were again our friends as we made our way thru various shops. EB was looking for a SFO hoody and finally settled on a suitable specimen. I have never seen her go into such detail in QC checks of all components - painful and have to say several items were rejected prior to acceptance.
Might say something about personality... not the first time I am going to see this

Late afternoon and we returned to room to freshen up. Meeting up with good mate from Kiwi land - Phil who was also in town for business. Enjoyed a meal and plenty of laughs at Pier 39. Great to catch up, last time the family were together with Phil (& his family) was in San Diego in 2009. Must catch up with them in NZ soon

Not a late night given our need to pack up and be ready for 6:30am taxi to SFO airport, was a good thing.
Sad to leave this place - would love to have further time here

Great way to spend a weekend and rocking start to the trip - pleased we factored this in
