Cannot believe we are in the USA already! Insane. Spent 1st night in LA (after traveling all night) in Venice Beach. Wandered around the cute little boho area - freak shows, homeless people, vintage shops and gorgeous boutiques. Felt a tad unsafe so the next day we migrated to Hollywood (not much safer) where we met up with the FRRGs again. Checked out the walk of fame, shops, Hollywood sign etc. Back on sushi - get in! Girls were on form for a great nite out on a bar crawl. Ended up wasted in a pizza place with Noel from Hearsay - oh dear! Woke up with severe bruises. we are yet to discover if I was beaten up!!

Next day we went to Santa Monica where we felt ROUGH all day and was sick in the public loos on the pier - nice! Really nice area though despite the hangovers. Next day we took the bus from Sunset Boulevard to UCLA and Beverly Hills. Did some window shopping on Rodeo Drive and had lunch. Travellers? yeh right! More celeb spotting on our last few days in Hollywood as we looked around the Beverly Hills houses, had lunch at the Beverly Hills hotel and saw Forest Whittaker unveil his star (with good pal 'jack bauer' for support - sweet as). Our last night with the girls in Hollywood we went on a hummer limo ride and drank champers but ended up in a dodgy bar all nite - disaster!
