THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!!!!!!!!

So, finally it had come - the last week of our travels! Insane. Was so nice to meet up with fellow BRRB, Hugo, for our first night out in NYC. After pre-hostel lash he took us out to some wicked bars for more drinking and lots of pool. Ended up wasted in some gangster club - love it!

We spent the week doing all of the usual touristy thigs and exploring the city - Times Square, Rockefella Centre, Central Park, Staten Island Ferry, Statue of Liberty, Grand Central Station, Gugenheim Museum, Brooklyn Bridge etc etc. Had some crazy nights out in the trendy Meatpacking District where we managed to blag our way into a few exclusive bars. We also went to Broadway and saw 'Avenue Q' which was hilarious!! It is such a funny show with songs including 'Everyones a Little bit racist' and 'The internet is for porn'. Would definately recommend.

Most importantly however, we got to do lots of shopping!! Hit Abercrombie and Victoria's Secret hard and also went to a retail outlet an hour from the city where we spent a little too much in Ralph Lauren. But then thats what credit cards are for, right? Cant believe my travels have come to an end already! But will be nice to get home and see everyone and get rid of my backpack for good!!
