Really lucky in this location, cruise ship moored in heart of City at Queens Wharf. Ferry terminal right next to us and a fans zone is on our quay - so get off ship and you walk straight into a 24 hour party. All sorts of entertainment and stuff happening. 30 minutes on a ferry, just been on a tour of the island. The really cool thing is that they make Manuka honey from the trees growing in the crater of the volcano. Every summer they make about 1 ton. The Island is only 600 years old! We have buildings older than that. There is no soil, all volcanic rocks, no animals and very few birds. First full day in NZ and look at my breakfast! This was course 2, first was full English. On the up side, I finished with a bowl of fruit. AND before breakfast I did 30 minutes in gym. Now for our first tour, it starts at Fullers Ferry, famous for a nutty England player jumping off one of ferries to swim back the last few yards - was on news last week.

In new Zealand sitting in fan zone in Queens Wharf. The boat is moored at Queens Wharf so just walk out boat and there I am. Tomorrow up early for tour of Rangitoto, a volcano and nature trail on an island just off the coast near Auckland.
