Day 3 in Seattle! After having a lovely night at Pike Brewery, sleeping in was a complete necessity. Okay, forwarning. This is going to be a long one. Abby, Laura, and I woke up bright and early to get a head start on Seattle. After taking the metro rail downtown, we met up with another group of girls from LSU at Pike Place Market. It was pretty early, so we hit up the first Starbucks store (hot caramel macchiato and a nice little souvenir mug!). We walked up and down Pike Place Market. Seattle must have air conditioning. It was a perfect 56 degrees when we walked out the airport. It wasn't the bone chilling Louisiana 56 degrees. The flights were pretty uneventful. One-hour layover in Houston. Grabbed a Subway, saw a lovely soccer team from Ireland. Then connecting four-hour flight into Seattle. We arrived to the Courtyard Marriot room around 10PM. In true first night fashion, a BBQ chicken pizza was ordered.
