After the night before, we all had a lazy day today. Although I did have to do my laundry (the boring times of hostel life!) but it was basically get up, breakfast, laundry, back to bed, lunch. Then I felt a bit claustrophobic so wandered around King's Cross, in the daytime it is a lot like other streets but at nighttime is where it illuminates up like Blackpool!

The best part of today was going to see the saturday night Darling Harbour fireworks. Darling Harbour was packed to the brim when we got there which was quite surprising seeing as it was middle of winter but I soon understood why. The fireworks were amazing, like nothing I had seen before and to think that they did this every saturday night?! It is definately a very welcoming sight for new tourists, I was very impressed!

Then we walked back to the hostel where a couple of people were celebrating their birthdays so more goon drinking, drinking games and karaoke. I got to know more people, it was a great way to intergrate. And I made it to my bunk again but didnt manage to put my pj's on! oops!
