Went to see the Stirling Castle & the village. The whole journey (rtn tickets) cost only 34£ for four persons altogether, only 8,5£/person, so it was much cheaper than we had expected! Nice surprise :) Nice train ride, too, and you can see some Scottish countryside from the window during it. Fast train, too. The journey took about an hour. Pretty short walk to the castle. The castle itself was smaller than we had expected, but it was nice. And from the castles' hilltop there was a magnificient view! Great Scottish hilltops and plains. Walked all across the town on this day. Very little town, but nice. The trip took all day, but it was worth it. Was fun to see a bit of the countryside.
