First day in Scotland. Nice town, this one, it seems. Today we've just wandered around and been eaten pub food, but quite good pub food. Walked to the Edinburgh Castle, but since we were there at 5 pm&it closes at 6 pm, we decided to go there on another day. The pub at our apartments' downstairs is called "The World's End", just like the one in that Sandman comic book (one of my favourite stories in The Sandman, btw), where Dream and Hob Gadling meet once in every hundred years. =) Tomorrow we're going to the Stirling Castle by train, on Saturday to see the Rosslyn Chapel in Roslyn (yeah, the same which was in the Da Vinci Code& the same which has some Knights Templar buried in it& many riddles in the walls&pagan figures among the angels). On Saturday night we are also going to one of those haunted walks, to see the Greyfriars Graveyard, the famous MacKenzie poltergeist and the underground vaults of the South bridge, where they once kept the people who had the Black Death, a.k.a the Plague. Looking forward to that tour, for sure!!! I'd _reeaally want to see some ghosts, since we're in the most haunted city in all of the UK (like it's said)!! :D
