Location: Leaving Iluka bound for South West Rocks
Current activity: Caravan-spotting along the Pacific Highway, Southbound
Jonathan has assumed his rightful captain's seat in the driver position. I, of course, am the navigator. The girls are asleep in the back. We feel as though we have joined the caravan club seeing many similar rigs - and many far more lavish - on the highway on this weekday mid-morning. Not any other young couples spotted thus far.
Our stay at Iluka Riverside Caravan Park was delightful; made even more lovely by the company of our friends Rob & Sabine, and their daughter, Sofia. It was great to have friends to share a sunset drink with - and what a spot from which to enjoy them!
Seeing Sofia and Angelina walk around the park holding hands was very cute indeed. Their baby bath had probably the most spectacular view in Australia - looking out over the water and into the sunset.
Another highlight included a day-trip to Yamba on the ferry. The decision to go was made at the last minute. As we dashed for the ferry, Amazing Race style, nappy and snacks in hand; Angelina in the backpack, and Esther on my front, we completely forgot to check the return timetable. In the result, we were stranded in Yamba for the day - but there are far worse places to be.

Andrew That's the makings of a good holiday isn't it - being stranded because you didn't check the ferry time. Well done :)
Troy I agree with Andrew on this on..... but i think in a slightly less sarcastic tone.... unless you get stranded to some small degree you have not had a good holiday :)
Andrew Sorry - I wasn't trying to be sarcastic :) I meant that it being stranded and getting side tracked and getting lost are all the times when you discover things on holidays ... even if all you discover is that you don't have to rush to be somewhere :)
