All aboard the (Jayco) 'Swan Princess'! Our adventure begins. We have dried out from the wet start and both Angelina and Esther have succumbed to sleep in the backseat as we travel on the familiar pacific highway. Meanwhile, Jonathan is capably at the helm. We've both snacked on car-made sandwiches and barley sugars and are blissfully feeling like an old married couple while reminiscing about the great road trips of our childhood. As for this trip, the reality that it will be just us, the open road and the camper behind us for the next four months is just starting to sink in. The forecast is for rain for the next few days so our shiny new rain jackets and crocs will get a good workout. May God keep us safe and may our beds be dry!
