Holimoon Of A Lifetime
Knysna is a seaside resort built around a lagoon. It used to be a furniture-making centre, but now seems to be a place where very well-heeled white South Africans come to holiday in their luxurious lock-up-and-go seaside houses. By UK standards, they are cheap: I could exchange Laurel Cottage forbeds and 3 baths and a pool and garages and a jetty and perhaps event servants' quarters! We went for coffee with some of Peter's friends yesterday, and they told me that Brits who buy places here are known as 'swallows' because they come and they go with the seasons. Cover pic shows the Indian Ocean, again.
