Hi everyone

Well I arrived safe and sound. i didn't scream too much on the plane. I got a taxi (splashed out on a limosine) to take me to the hotel and thank goodness I did. The alternatives were far too scary. The hotel is lovely although I haven't seen my room yet as I checked in 5 hours too early. I've had a walk around the streets on Bangkok and it's hot, dirty and smelly! It just has to be seen to be believed. I'm thinking of arranging a sightseeing trip to the nicer parts but am in desperate need of sleep and a shower. It's very hot and muggy but not sunbathing weather.

Nothing much else to report for now, but thought I would let you know I've arrived safely!
