After Fraser we headed up to Airlie beach to set sail on the Gt BarrierReef around the Whit-sunday Islands... After the Hula theme on fraser we thought it apt to carry on with the fun and got kitted out as Pirates! It was so much fun... Keep an eye out for the photos. The Reef was nice but did not blow me away as i was hoping it would do. I was scared of the deep sea (the shark thing) but i still did my deep sea dive that was on offer. It was great and i picked it up really quickly. It felt so cool to be breathing under water...unfortunaltaly it was brief and at 3 meters i had to go up as my ears were really hurting and i couldn't clear them. The dive guy was quick to get me out and said that ears are important things... So true,and although i was gutted that i didn't go deeper i was still really pleased with the 10 mins that I had.I did lots more snorkelling and saw some massive fish.. one that was called Elvis made an apperance. He has a big quiff and was massive... about 1 meter long and so fat. I also saw lemon sharks, I was cool with this and they were really nice. Me and Emma were sharing a cabin and it had BEDBUGS! They are horrid little things and although we reported them a few times they were there to stay...even after fumigation... I only strangley only ended up with 1 or 2 bites but Emma was sooooo covered and so were some others on the ship. Apart from that it was another successful trip and we were all so relaxed by the end,we just spent 3 days drinking and chilling out. This was our last few days as a group and i am soooo pleased to have met the guys in Byron... We have had such an amazing time and I have made some life long friends!
