Kim's European Journey
It finally cooled down in London. Thanks to the rain that we prayed for.
Yesturday we toured the Tower of London. Very eery. Saw some sweet jeweled crowns. I definitely think that place has power. You can feel it in some of the rooms.
Went out with Frank and his friend last night. Had lots of fun. Stayed out entirely too late. Rach and I both managed to lock each other out of the room when we got back. Long story... and I cant remember most of it.
We really didnt have much on the agenda for today. I want to see St.Pauls Cathedral, but we have to go tomorrow because it isnt open to the public on Sundays. We took the underground to Covent Garden and shortly visited a theatre museum. We then walked to Trafalgar Square where BBC and the London Arts Council were holding group dancing and juggling lessons. Very, very odd. But it was nice to sit in the square with the cool breeze and people watch.
We are very excited about tomorrow night. We got tickets to Mary Poppins on the West End. It just opened and is sold out. The show only seemed appropriate being that we are in London. However, when we were in the tube station we saw a sign advertising Guys and Dolls with Patrick Swayze in it!!!!! Definitely would have enjoyed that show.....
Definitely looking forward to coming home on Tuesday. We are currently in the process of compiling superlative lists and quotes from the trip so I will post those soon, as well as pictures when I get them off of my memory cards.
