Everybody having gone to a beach and not saying which one, Isaac and me ended up spending most of the day alone.
We had some pizza for breakfast, and then chilled on the beach, lying around in the water and getting our tan on. After a couple hours of scorching heat we chilled in the shade at a bar for a bit and had some drinks. Then we went back to the hotel to cool down from the heat.
Later, we grabbed more food and then decided to go kayaking. We got a kayak for just 200B for the hour and set off in the sunset. After about twenty minutes, we reached a deserted beach, which we found out to be called "Monkey Beach". Didn't see any monkeys, but it was such a lush beach! Tropical water, the whitest, softest sand and not too many rocks on the seabed (definitely have a phobia of rocks in the sea now, rocks mean sneaky urchins and other bad creatures)! The scenery was beautiful with limestone rocks and a monkey forest behind. There were also several little hand-made swings hanging off trees, so nice and relaxing, a nice hide away.
We only got to spend like ten minutes there before we had to head back though as it was starting to getting dark and our rental time was running out. I strapped on my life jacket and we were pulling the boat back into the water when a couple asked Isaac to take a photo, he asked if I was cool holding the kayak and I was like yeah, yeah sure thing, so he left the boat with me. Next thing I know a massive wave comes along and pushes the boat on its' side knocking me on my bum and flipped over me. Isaac turned around a second later and saw me on my arse with my legs in the air. Obviously little marfs are no match for harsh waves. When we got back Isaac had realised he'd lost his life jacket, so we put the boat back and ran away.
We went back to the hotel to wash off all the sand and that and Isaac came back with the world's best burger. Perfectly executed sauce and every single chip was crisped to perfection, utterly divine. After, we met up with the others, pre drank and then went out for a bit on the beach clurbs; the music was s***e but had fun anyway.
