What an absolutely shocking waste of a day. All I have accomplished is knowing where the police station in terminal 2 is, and finding the best spots to stand in terminal 1 to get the best wifi signal. You will all know what happened, but to make you laugh again... Got up. Needed to use my debit card. Couldn't find it. Reported card lost, and got it blocked. Phoned BA about verification process at check in. Got nowhere. Went to Changi. Made a police report. Spent many hours on the phone. Ate no food. Spent more time on the phone. Got back to the apartment after 6 hours. About to get some 'breakfast'. Found card.
After the most pointless day, I staggered round to McDonalds, had a large Big Mac meal, staggered home again, and have just crashed since. What a short blog entry it is today!
Today is my 10th day in Singapore, and after yesterday's 'adventures', I couldn't be bothered to do much. I chilled out most of the morning, with going round to the shop to get some bread and cheese the most exciting thing I did. Early afternoon, one of the guys from the apartment and I went across to the cinema to watch Ted 2 which was very funny! I then went back to the apartment and relaxed for a little longer before going out to Tampines to meet Hannah and Greg on their way back to Australia. We had a lovely meal at a Chinese restaurant (we were going to go to the dumpling place we went to a few years ago, but ended up going to a different place), but the food was just as tasty. We got loads of dumplings and different chicken dishes, and shared between us. It was lovely to see them, I hadn't seen Hannah since last year, and Greg for even longer.
These last two days have definitely been less productive in terms of seeing the sights of Singapore, but it has been good to recharge ready for my amazing time with Jane coming up! Not sure when the next blog will be up, but it will be when I am in another continent!

mum Another great blog though so frustrating for you, at least you have had a chance to catch up with Hannah and Greg, have a big Mac and gone to cinema. Meanwhile this end silence continues on retreat. Much love
