Day 21/22 So this was a long day, the trip from Sangklaburi to Ko Phangan is 16hrs!! We travelled by a combination of bus and boat.. We left our hotel at 11am, and started by returning to our Hotel Kanchanaburi where we had a 2hr rest, to then carry on our way at 6pm. O before we got back to Kanchanaburi we stop off at some natural hot springs, wasnt my thing to be honest! When we got to Kanchanaburi after 6hours on the go, we were able eat and chill for a bit. We then got on our way again at at 6pm with the plan to get to the port for 6am for a 7am crossing. Well due to people pissing around at stops we managed to miss our boat!! So we had to wait till 10 for the next one! 3hours at a port was not fun as there was nothing to do at all! Eventually we got on our way, the crossing took 2hours, with a further 15mins to the hotel. The hotel in Ko Phangan is really nice, probably the best accommodation so far..
Ko Phangan is basically Ibiza in Asia, so quiet nights out are out of the question, and traditional Thai food is also hard to come for. The island is defiantly geared up for the western party goer!! During the day there seems like there is plenty to do to make up for what i consider to be 'hell' for a night out!!
