Well the good weather had to end sooner or later and today we awoke to rain, so we donned our raincoats and set off to catch the trolley bus. We stopped at USS Constitution and climbed up and down the decks of this lovely old ship - certainly doesn't have much headroom in the lowers decks and some of the rooms are tiny. I'd hate to have been at sea in her!
We then walked up the road to take the 'duck tour' which is the bus/boat that drives into the river and then goes around the harbour - it was good fun as the tour guides were very funny.

Back on the bus and got off at Quincy Markets which were really busy but it was awesome seeing the array of foods. After shopping a bit we walked to the Boston Aquarium. Saw seals, lots of fish, stingrays etc, but the large penguin areas were empty as they had been temporarily removed and there were renovations being done. I always love aquariums and I think it will be good when finished, but I must say I've seen much better (ie Sydney and Osaka)!!

Walked back to our apartment for a
coffee and pastry (yes we returned to Mike's Pastry!!! - soooo good).

In for a quiet night tonight and hoping the rain goes away tomorrow!
