What a difference a good night's sleep makes!
Today I did a 2 hour Snapshot tour of the city and it certainly was that. It was good to hear about places and see all of the different areas but I just wanted to get off the bus and look some more. Fortunately I have one full day on Sunday with a friend who is going to show me around so I have marked a couple of places I'd like to see. The tour left us at Granville Island markets so I spent a good couple of hours wandering around there, soaking up the atmosphere and marveling at the amazing foods and goods. I also bought a cd from some buskers who turned out to be Aussie and the guy was born in Canberra - they are called Zeebz. It was just lovely sitting in the sun listening to them.
I got the ferry back to the other side and decided to walk around the seawall back to my hotel. It was the most glorious day so I just walked along watching everything and everyone and taking photos. It only took about half an hour I think. And to top it off another magnificent sunset - Vancouver has really turned on its best for me the past 2 days.
Tomorrow I'm off to Whistler for the day and the forecast is good :-)))
