After four years teaching classes of three year-olds, I'm starting to see (or imagine) patterns. Terry Pratchett once wrote that there are only about 100 different people in the world, and you just keep meeting them under different identities. I wonder if any other teachers relate to that...

These two girls are great, and I feel like I've met them before. The little girl driving the bike reminds me of the student I called Firecracker in my old blog, because she has the same bright eyes and comedic self-assurance for a tiny person. The girl with the huge smile reminds me of Pumpkin, and just because she's chubby; also because she's shy about speaking but dances like a superstar.
