We have been to the coldest driest place on earth to day ANTARICA centre.

We had an authentic Antarctic experience. We went though four seasons, snow and ice where we all put on heavy coat and boots then enter a room full with snow and ice to ride out a snow storm with the wind and snow almost dark, boy was it cold dropped to -18 for 15mins was real cool we all loved it. Then we meet the little blue penguins they are the worlds smallest penguins, all of them here are rescued and have some issues, one was paralised on the right, another had no feeling in his tongue and another was on antidepressants because he kept trying to kill the others so they need to keep him carm then every thing is fine.

Oh yer....did we laugh......oh yes we went into see two 4d films one was happy feet we, jumped out of our seat when the big penguin fell over, got soaked when the whale jumped in the sea, it was so funny to be sat next to Betty who jumped at it all screaming and laughing at the same time. We also had a bit more seriousness on a voyage to Antarctica still with all the actions when hitting icebergs getting very wet in the storm. We had so much fun.

We drove into Christchurch city for a coffee at Finns favourite place C one, it is a old post room complete with the air tunnels that shoot the post around, which now delivers you some of your order to your table, like Finn had a bullet of fries shot from the kitchen, very good. This time we had a walk around its like a war zone some walls being held up just the front remaining wall on an listed building while they try to rebuild the rest.

Then we went and done some shopping the the warehouse, nice cheap place that sold everything, I brought a portable extra hard drive for my computer, also we both had some new t shirts and slippers in the clearance sale, the best bargain was the craft dies we found really cheap.

So all in all a fantastic day with the family. Xxxxxxx
