What a diferance in two country's offering wonders that are totally amazing feeling so greatful to spend special time with our great family's memories to treasure.

Neil gave us a tour of Christchurch today quite sad to see all the damage done in the big earthquake in 2011. Still work to restore this city ahead for many years buildings still half standing. No tall office blocks to be found all crumbled. Very sad to see as many life's were lost. An example how they managed to help traders up and running they supplied shipping containers for shops and made a temporary shopping mall it was so successful they are keeping it for a while, many street art on walls that will be taken down in time are there to brighten up the city.

We also drove up into hills and mountains spectacular views all around this wonderful place, we drove to a small place called sumner on the Pacific coast sun was shining great beach loved it, further up in the mountains we went stopping to view wonderful sights looking over lakes and open waters from miles above, amazing views which we have never seen anything like it, hope the pics should be good.

On way home we picked up young Finn form school and also got to see him having his swimming lesson, he is doing well with his swimming. Full on day. Xxxx
