So it finally sank in that I am going to be living in this foreign country for the next sixth months. It was all a little overwhelming and a lot to take in at once. We were so tired from the trip over we went to bed at 9 and didn't wake up until someone knocked on my door at 1 the next day in the afternoon. I felt much better the next day minus the lovely sneezing and coughing cold I just happened to bring from America. The day was a bit of a blur but we managed to find our way to Ikea and two different grocery stores to get the essentials for survival. We were still pretty tired and thought it would be good to have another early night before our orientation the next day. Apparently none of the other 350 students had that thought because it was very noising until the sun rose. I now understand why I was handed three free sets of ear plugs the next day!
