Wednesday was a huge day in Spain "Dia de los Reyes" (Day of the three kings). The holiday here is celebrated as more important than christmas. Dan and I dressed up and enjoyed a feast of Argentine Asado, which is by far the best meat in the world. We also had another Spanish dish with cod, cabbage, and potatoes that was great as well. We finished our celebration by having King's Cake, which Senora Ferrero made for us. The entire experience was one of a kind, and Dan's family was extremely nice to share it with me. Wednesday night one of Dan's other friends (Adrian) came over and we went out for another late night.
After waking up the following day late, Dan finished his packing and we went out to a very nice restaurant for his last meal before returning to W&L. I had Rabo de Torro (Bulltail stew), morcilla (Blood Sausage), Rabas (Calamari), and it was absolutely amazing. Dan and I were almost to stuffed to move afterwards, but in typical Spanish Fashion - we went out - again. This time we went to a bar called Barbaron where for 10 Euros you get a glass the size of your arm, and it was another late night.Dan left Friday afternoon and the past couple days I have been recovering and taking care of Business. School starts monday and should be great. Hasta luego
