As I write my last blog from Thailand it is tinged with sadness as firstly I do not want to leave this country it is beautiful and the people are friendly and kind, but secondly and more improtantly stacey has left and as I write this is waitin for her flight to LHR from Bangkok! So I am a lone traveller again but Im sure I will meet more amazing people along the way jus as I have done over the past 40 days! When I last wrote me and stacey were on our way to the Hilton! We arrived to pure luxury at around 430pm ready to wash the sand from Maya Bay of every single part of our bodies! The room was lovely and the view even better however we could not get used to the feeling of being surrounded by rich unfriendly people, who think they are better than everyone else! We would both given up out nights at the Hilton to spend another night on "The Beach". On Wednesday we spent the day by the pool laughing at all the germans in their speedo's! Seriously there is no need! In the evening we went sown to Kata and booked a room for our last night in Thailand which was cheap and basic - what we were used to! I also put my washing in as the Hilton were charging 100 Baht per item and I put it in in Kata for 100 Baht for 2kg! We walked back down to the Hilton and got room service that night and watched a good film!
