Hello Blog Followers (as I now like to call you!) I'll fill you in on mine and Staceys 2 days in Patong which is in Phuket the largest of the Thai Islands. We arrived around 3pm and had a little wander round it was quite tacky to say the least! We went back to the hostel and met Rachel and Lizzie who I met in India. We got settled in our four bed dorm which was quite cool, we have all said we missed staying in hostels as you get to meet lots more people! Then we went out onto the main Patong strip and Jesus Christ I think this may have been one of the worst resorts I've ever been! Think of Magaluf and times it by ten! Hookers, ping pong shows, and skanks eveywhere! I mean you get use to it in Thailand but here was hiddious! So we went up to the gay area which was obviously much nicer! Went to a bar called Chic or Chick as Stace called it - bless her! It was so cool they came round and handed out wet towels half way through ur drinks and they had some guy in the toilet washing your hands for you! Full on but kind of nice! We then went to a club and had a good dance all four of us really enjoyed ourselfs and had a great night dancing and making new friends! We eventually got home bout 5am and all agreed we needed to get out of Parong ASAP! We wanted to get the boat to Phi Phi the next day but we slept til half 1 and the last boat was at 2 so there was no chance! So we went to go and have a full body Thai massage! Which was amazing although at some points abit painful! It lasted a full hour and then we spent the night chilling out at the hostel watching films! We also booked our boat to go to Phi Phi tomorrow and a camping trip to Maya Bay which is where the beach was filmed! So we are getting up at 630am to go and get our boat to Phi Phi! Very excited!
