Let me start by saying that the past 24 hours has been the most amazing experience of my life! The rest you will shortly find out! So we set off from the dreadful Patong around 750am and then got on our boat from Phuket Town to Phi Phi at 830. We sat on the top deck and took a little bit of morning sun! Once we arrived on Phi Phi we really thought we had found paradise! It was beautiful! Despite being totally devastated by the tsunami a few years ago it has turned into a nice little resort with no roads jus little footpaths! We went to lemongrass resturant where we would leave our backpacks as we were doin the camping trip to Maya Bay "The Beach" that night! We went an had a swim in the completely clear sea as by this time it had to be about 32 degrees! We made our way back to lemongrass and we set off on our camping tour about 4pm. We got on a boat to Phi Phi Lei and stopped of to do some snorkling on the way! The guys were throwing bread at us when we were in the sea and the fish swarmed around us it was very strange like they had no fear! The coral was amazing too! We got back on the boat and then just as we were coming around the corner of the bay Pure Shores by All Saints was played an the sight we saw was out if this world! We were wrong about Phi Phi being paradise - Maya Bay is definately the definition of paradise! We sat in the bay for a while talking to the 20 other people we would be spending the night with! It was such a good feeling to watch all the day tourists leave and knowing that we had everything to ourselfs! I don't think I can explain how amazing the next 24 hours were on Maya Bay so I'm not going to because it won't do it justice! What I will say is we met some amazing people who we will be keeping in touch with and had the best time with our new Thai friends who were running the tour - nemo or ting tong as we called him (means crazy in Thai), and chocolate the best fire showman! I also tried doing a fire dance thing I have a video which I will try and put on! I have one lasting reminder of my time in Maya Bay a third degree burn on my left knuckle it's sore man!!! Unfortunately we had to leave paradise and all our new friends and Rachel and Lizzie which is possibly the hardest thing I've had to do so far on this trip! I think a tear has even been shed! Ha ha... But nothing will ever beat that experience! The one bonus is that me and Stace are now on our way to the Hilton in Karon Beach Phuket which is Staceys treat for me! So I'll love you and leave you! Ads and Stace x
