Hello from Thailand! This is my first blog in love you longtime land! I'm writting this by the pool in Koh Phagnan but I'm back dating to Bangkok which we left on wednesday night! I arrived at the airport and Stacey was waiting for me at bagage reclaim! It was weird to see her, it felt like arrived home but fortunately I hadn't! We got a taxi to our hostel which was fabulous, is was done out in sort of contemporary urban theme! We had red bunks abd the cafe/bar downstairs was lovely! We had to wait a few hours before we could check in which was s*** cos neither had had much sleep! We checked in and then went to bed for a few hours! In the evening we went to the koah san road (the backpackers hang out) for tea. We had a little walk around then went to a bar and meet some kiwis. They were going out to "the club" so we went with them and I think we had three buckets (like sandcastle buckets) of vodka red bull! We lost the shopping we had bought earlier and got very drunk! The kiwis were cool peeps and were gonna meet up with them again at the full moon party.
In the morning we woke up and felt so rough! We have since found out that the red bull here is like three times stronger than at home - there were probably about 4 cans in one bucket! So despite feeling incrediably rough we fought through it and found the spirit (that's for you joaner)! We went the koah San road again for lunch and to replace the items we'd lost the night before! Then we wnt on the river boat which was lovely our plan was to go to this big shopping complex but we only just about made it back to the hotel for another sleep! We decided that the day was written off and only made it out for tea!

The next we were getting the night bus/boat to Koh Phagnan, so we checked out and left our bags at the hostel. We went to see the reclining budda which was huge, and then spent some time at a resturant on the river. We headed back to the hostel and then went to go our bus to Koh Phagnan. The bus was 8 hours but it was a nice bus with reclining seats and we had a stop to get some food. The boat on the other hand I will tell you about in my next blog!
