I've actually been back a week now but haven't got around to writing the last blog till now.

It was really tough leaving. It felt wierd after having turned up and got really involved to be saying goodbye. I don't know whether or not i'll be going back and its certainly unlikely that I'll see any of the girls again because they will probably have moved on by the time i could go back. It was lovely though as they all stood in the street and waved goodbye as we drove away. They all got us presents and wrote us cards. I will miss them all a lot, I already do.

We got the collage finished which was good - it looked really nice by the end. I put a few photos up but i didn't manage to get one of the final thing. The scholars were so sweet - most of them cried and some of them wrote us cards too....

We also managed to get the survey written up and wrote a health information leaflet to be distributed. I'm glad we managed to get some good information out of the survey as it was a very short amount of time to do it in.

Its odd being home again. In a way some of it feels so distant but my perspective on things has changed quite a bit. I had forgotten quite how sexually driven our culture is. Things like prostitution and pornography are treated as a joke and nothing to be taken seriously. The fact is that I have met girls who are in internet pornography because clients have taken photos of them. I have even met children who are probably in child pornography. They may escape their situation but those photos will be on the internet for years to come.

All of the women I met there were normal women and girls who have been thrust into their situation by poverty and necessity. They are desperate to be loved and accepted just like anyone is. I am still amazed at how positive and happy they all are despite the horrific things they have had to go through.

I just hope I can be a good witness now to what goes on in this country and to the injustices God's people are having to suffer at the hands of other men and women.
