Survey sounds like good progress - will you be able to finish it, or just get it started? Will you bring a typical local luxury fan home as a souvenir?
Glad you got to the beach, but for the first lot of photos I thought you never got into the water!
Elaine took keyboard, bike and stuff to Edinburgh today.
Looking forward to seeing you next week. Back to see how Andy Murray is getting on vs. Nadal - he was two sets up last night in US Open semis when bad weather stopped play!

I agree the blogs are great and others have commented to me about their quality too. You manage to give a vivid picture of what you are doing and what is happening. I hope the survey is worthwhile - it may be chaotic but still a lot better than not doing it!
Where's your suncream then? (that's a Mum talking!). Also I hope you are not tempted to buy too many new tops just because they are cheap!! It was so good to talk to you....not long now xxx

your blogs just get better and better! they are so challenging and inspiring. it must be great to have something concrete to do, it sounds really interesting and worthwhile, u must be making a huge difference. i cant think of anything much worse than a videoke though... hehe! although the image of u singing cheesy covers in the philipenes is an interesting one! love u lots cant wait to talk properly!
Elaine
I'm very impressed by your detailed blog and the photos, and full of admiration for the work you are doing.
It sounds as though you're working non-stop but perhaps it's good practice for the start of another uni year...?!
See you soon; lots of love.

"Therefore my dear brothers (sister!), stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15v58
"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honour one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality." Romans 12v9-13 Some encouraging words, sounds like ur doing all of this!!
