Hey everyone-just checking my blog works... I'm not there yet though. I get the train to london tomorrow and fly out on friday from heathrow. I arrive on saturday afternoon - bit of a trek!

Anyway just packing and panicking and getting excited all at once... i know i'm going to forget something but as long as that isn't my passport/visa I should be ok.

also learning a lil' bit of tagalog... i can now say - 'the dog is tired' or 'the man is big' or even 'the children and the fish are cold'!!! go me! that's going to take me a long way - esp. if i'm in a restaurant and my food is cold... or something!

I shall let you know how the journey goes as soon as I can.
